Our Premium
Graded Coffee
Kenya’s high altitudes, ideal climate and strong traditions have helped put premium Kenyan coffees among the worlds most treasured! We are traders and roasters of specialty coffee; we sell 100% Arabica that we sought long and hard to find. Our belief is that every Kenyan needs to appreciate their homegrown coffee, that is why our premium export quality is served at home as well.
Our coffee is excellent on its own – roasting is done by a group of superb individuals that have gathered years of roasting experience. If you do not drink cow milk, we recommend a range of alternative milks. For example, Oat, Soy or Almond milk.
"Never Tasted Something Better. Good quality coffee and a reliable team, thank you Adobas."

Our Single Sourced Coffees
Dark Roast
Tamaduni
Tamaduni is an espresso. A dark roast coffee blend comprising strictly of the main crop, coffees that have grown at higher altitudes with lower temperatures ensuring slow maturation and a quality yield. These coffees tend to take the heat better; when roasted to espresso (slightly longer, darker roast), there characteristic hints and flavours remain noticeable in the cup. Because of its roast profile, Tamaduni presents a bold, bittersweet cup with caramelized sugars and hints of toasted sweet corn. It is high in the body, mellow low acidity, and a dry finish.
Medium Roast
Sisimko
A wonderfully complex cup; moderate in acidity and body. Sisimko is a balance in the cup for individuals who appreciate both properties about Kenyan Coffee. This coffee is sourced from different coffee growing regions/counties that score highest in terms of cup quality and yield. Sisimko presents a balanced cup with a sweet aroma, mellow grapefruit acidity and hints of dry sweet orange zest – even resembling wine at times.
Bitter and Spicy
Chungu
At the coast of Kenya (Mombasa, Malindi and Lamu), drinking kahawa chungu is an old tradition. Kenyan Barista Chungu is a spicy coffee with bright acidity, bitter, stout, exciting spicy flavors. This coffee is usually brewed over a charcoal stove in tall kettles, it is served with dates or ground nuts which helps balance off the taste. It also goes with mahamri, kaimati (bun made from deep fried dough) and other local snacks.
